It’s been a rough week for the Rockies pitching situation. This week Evan and Skyler discuss the ongoing shuffling of the Colorado Rockies starting rotation as injuries have plagued the staff all week. However, props to Noah Davis and Peter Lambert for their efforts to eat a lot of innings this past week. Meanwhile, what’s going on with Ryan McMahon? His glove is as sure as ever but his bat has cratered since returning from the All-Star Break. The Rockies have mentioned time and time again that he is primed for a breakout and needs to put together two complete halves but 2024 is following the same trend of years past. In contrast, Brenton Doyle has turned in his first 20/20 season while maintaining consistency throughout the year, and he might be the future of this organization at center field. So they ponder the question, do you sign him to a long-term extension? We round the episode out with a game of “Fire, Promote, Keep” and set our sights on the Rockies front office and some veteran players.
