In their first visit to the Intuit Dome, the Rockets defeated the Clippers 117-106 to end the trip on a solid note.
Jalen Green led the way for Houston with 31 points including knocking down five three-pointers en route to a +9 rating.
Starting in place of Fred VanVleet, Amen Thompson dropped 22 points eight rebounds, four assists, and a block and steal.
Along with Thompson and Green, the rest of the Rockets starters also scored double figures with Dillion Brooks at 19, Jabari Smith at 13, and Alperen Sengun with 11.
For VanVleet, he missed his first game of the season with a right knee contusion. Tari Eason also missed his second straight game.
Next up, Houston returns home for their biggest game of the young season.
The Rockets take on the Golden State Warriors in the quarterfinal of the NBA Cup live on TNT.
