Rockets Drop 3rd Straight At Hands Of Knicks

February has not been kind to the Houston Rockets thus far.

Unfortunately, that trend would continue on Monday night as Houston traveled to the most famous arena in the world to take on the Knicks.

It was Jalen Brunson who took over and dropped 42 points with 10 assists to go along with it leading the Knicks to a 124-118 win.

Houston led by 11 points after the 3rd quarter but was unable to hold on as New York scored 46 fourth-quarter points.

Amen Thompson was the star of the night for Houston, bringing home his third career triple-double finishing with 25 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.

Jalen Green stepped up without his backcourt mate Fred VanVleet as he dropped 21 points but shot just 9-22.

Dillion Brooks was the only other Rockets starter in double figures as he scored 11 points on 4-12 shooting.

Off the bench, the Rockets had two scorers in double figures, including Aaron Holliday, who had one of his better games this season, scoring 15 points,

Cam Whitmore also contributed a bench-high 18 points in yet another strong performance from the Rockets 6th man.

Health will be the key moving forward as the Rockets will look to get back both VanVleet and Alperen Sengun as well as Jabari Smith Jr.

Despite the need to recover, there won’t be much rest for the Rockets as they are back in action tonight taking on the Brooklyn Nets.
