Ridge Holland Makes His Moves at NXT Halloween Havoc

Winning an ambulance match is usually enough for one night, but not for Ridge Holland.

He shoved former partner Andre Chase into the ambulance to win at last night’s NXT Halloween Havoc show in Hershey, Pa.

However, Holland couldn’t stop interrupting Bubba Ray Dudley, who was analyzing the matches throughout the show with Busted Open Radio partner Dave LaGreca.

At the end of the night, Holland attacked NXT champion Trick Williams. The champ had just retained the title with a win over Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground match.

Holland and Page double-teamed the champion until Bubba Ray came into the ring for the save. Those four will probably meet on the Nov. 6 episode of NXT, which will take place at the old ECW Arena in Philadelphia.

DON’T CROSS THE FAMILY

North American champion Tony D’Angelo opened the show by defeating Oba Femi in a Tables, Ladders & Scares match. The D’Angelo Family gained revenge for Femi’s recent attacks and helped “The Don” score the victory.

Lexis King (Brian Pillman Jr.) needed a cornerman for Tuesday’s Heritage Cup match, so William Regal volunteered. King’s opponent, Charlie Dempsey, is Regal’s son.

NEW CHAMPION

North American women’s champion Kelani Jordan found out which member of Fatal Influence would challenge her for the title. The answer: All three of them.

Jordan won the first two legs of the gauntlet match over Jazmyn Nyx and Jacy Jayne, but Fallon Henley hit the Shining Wizard knee strike on Jordan to win the title.

Highly touted newcomers Stephanie Vaquer & Giulia defeated Cora Jade & NXT women’s champion Roxanne Perez. Vaquer hit a Phoenix Splash off the top to pin Jade.

Tatum Paxley came out for “Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal” for her match with Wendy Choo on Tuesday. The wheel landed on “Casket Match.”
