Ky Bush played the majority of the season with the Barons, and in 14 starts and 80 2/3 innings, he was one of the top pitchers for Birmingham with a 2.12 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP.

The 32-year-old Difo had a solid year with the Knights. Providing infield depth and veteran clubhouse leadership, he was striving to make it back to “The Show.”

Caden Connor had a terrific first full professional season. Splitting his time between the Cannon Ballers and the Dash, his year culminated with a selection to the MiLB Single-A end-of-season All-Star team.

And you thought you were safe from Chicago White Sox baseball. October 7 kicks off the AFL play and Chicago has nine players participating.

Adams is a young player who shows plenty of promise, and his time with Charlotte is a small sample size in a new experience. Overall, he ended up with a 2.92 ERA across 120 1/3 total minor league innings in 2024. While his fastball only reaches the low-to-mid-90s, his curveball is his bread and butter, sitting in the low-80s and striking out plenty of batters.

Undoubtedly, Coffey is capable of making the leap the the majors in 2025 — in fact, as quickly as breaking camp, provided his Cactus League is a solid one. It’s been an improbable, but heartening run for this “outsider” closer drafted seemingly as much for his third-base bat as his high-leverage arm.

There’s a lot of upside in the White Sox’s No. 21 prospect, Aldrín Batista. His impressive 9.63 K/9 and 2.73 ERA over a brief minors career makes him one of the more interesting young arms in the system.

By Charlotte standards, 2024 was a resounding success. While the overall record was still subpar at 68-79, contextually the Knights may well have won a World Series.

Congrats to Eric for a great season. He will be one to watch as he continues to progress through an organization who desperately could benefit from a reloaded bullpen.

They ultimately finished fourth overall for the season, with a 72-66 record and +62 run differential. In grand fashion, the season was capped off by a clutch playoff run that ended with the Barons winning the championship on a walk-off single from DJ Gladney.
