NXT Stars Prepare for Halloween Havoc
From 1989 to 2000, Halloween Havoc was one of the most important dates on the WCW calendar.
This Sunday, NXT will continue this pay-per-view tradition (well, as a Peacock premium live event).
Trick Williams will defend his NXT championship in the main event against “All Ego” Ethan Page. They had a verbal confrontation on last night’s NXT episode on The CW network.
SPIN THE WHEEL
The main event saw Guilia & Stephanie Vaquer team up to beat Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jacy Jayne, with Jazmyn Nyx).
One of those three will challenge Kelani Jordan for the NXT North American women’s title at Havoc. The “Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal” wheel landed on “Spinner’s Choice” just before the show ended.
Guilia & Vaquer also had a confrontation with their Havoc opponents, Cora Jade & Roxanne Perez, before the show ended. Then a new female wrestler from Australia named Zaria showed up, too. There was lot going on!
EXTRA DAMAGE
The opening bout was Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane) vs. Meta-Four (Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson). Before they could get into a groove, Chelsea Green & Piper Niven attacked both teams.
Oba Femi destroyed Luca Crusifino and then wiped out the rest of the D’Angelo Family after the match.
Sol Ruca defeated Karmen Petrovic after hitting her acrobatic “Sol Snatcher” move. Jaida Parker used the “hip attack” to beat Tatum Paxley.
Hank Walker & Tank Ledger defeated OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) with their Collision Course tandem finisher.
Andre Chase challenged one of his former Chase University students, Ridge Holland, to an ambulance match. Mike Awesome used to be the master of the ambulance match in WCW.
