No Clothes, No Problem: CM Punk Invades Steel Cage in a Towel

WWE likes to run shows during the week after Christmas so parents can buy tickets as stocking stuffers.

Last night, WWE presented one of these shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The main event was a steel cage match with Gunther defending the World title against Damien Priest. Gunther came out on top. A brawl broke out after the match with Dominik Mysterio and Ludwig Kaiser attacking Priest.

Suddenly, CM Punk joined the fight wearing only a shower cap and a towel.

Don’t believe me? See for yourself!

Punk had competed earlier in the night, defeating Kaiser.

TITLE MATCHES

Bron Breaker successfully defended the Intercontinental title, beating Sami Zayn in a best-of-three-falls match.

Liv Morgan retained her World women’s title with a win over Iyo Sky.

OTHER ACTION

The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumis, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy & Nikki Cross) beat The Final Testament (Authors of Pain, Karrion Kross & Scarlett). This was a rare wrestling appearance for Scarlett.

Seth Rollins defeated Dominik Mysterio. On the anniversary of Luke Harper’s death, Rollins paid tribute by hitting a discus lariat on Dirty Dom.

Increasingly unpopular Xavier Woods defeated Otis. LA Knight beat Santos Escobar in the opener.

The MSG show wasn’t the only WWE action that night. Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens, and both versions of the Bloodline competed on another untelevised show in Jacksonville, Fla.
