NFL Week 17 Daily Fantasy Football Sunday Perfect Lineup
Welcome back to another edition of the Daily Fantasy Preview, and for Week 17, we’ll be breaking down my DFS Perfect Lineup for the Sunday Slate of action. We’ll ride a couple superstars to glory this week as well as some great values. Let’s dive in!
QB BROCK PURDY | 49ERS @ Commanders | $7,000
Bold Prediction: Against these Commanders, Brock Purdy will throw a TD pass for every INT he had against the Ravens on Christmas Day. Shanahan and co. will use this game as a confidence boost for Purdy and run roughshod on Washington. Get in on it or you’ll regret it.
RB DEONDRE SWIFT | EAGLES vs. Cardinals | $6,500
The Eagles take on a moribund Cardinals squad giving up the most Fantasy points to opposing RBs in the NFL this season. Combine that with the potential for a supremely positive game-script for Philly, and it feels like one of those weeks where the Eagles ride the run game to an easy victory over a lesser opponent.
RB JAYLEN WARREN | STEELERS @ Seahawks | $5,500
Warren hasn’t been quite as explosive in recent weeks, but it’s another great matchup against a fairly porous Seattle run defense, and Warren is due a big play or two. He is already the team’s primary receiving option out of the backfield, and he has the ability to house one from anywhere on the field. He’s a little boom or bust, but if he booms, it’s a good day for you.
WR PUKA NACUA | RAMS @ Giants | $7,900
Nacua is from another planet. Probably the same one Matthew Stafford is from, though, given their impeccable connection and trust in each other. The Giants aren’t a good defense and the Rams are one of the more pass heavy teams in football. Puka should keep cooking.
WR GEORGE PICKENS | STEELERS @ Seahawks| $5,300
Another Steeler makes my list, and I’ll be honest: I like Pickens prospects more this week if Mason Rudolph does indeed Quarterback the Steelers. The big play ability we all expected to be a regular thing this season came back with Rudolph under center last week. It’s a tough venue in Seattle, but the Seahawks defense hasn’t exactly been nails all year.
WR NOAH BROWN | TEXANS vs. Titans | $5,100
If CJ Stroud returns to the lineup this week and Noah Brown, who is questionable, plays against the Titans, this could be an excellent value play. The Titans have been a bad pass defense all year and we’ve seen Stroud to Brown put up big fantasy numbers. I’d expect it again this week.
TE COLE KMET | BEARS vs. Falcons | $4,700
Kmet is QB Justin Fields favorite target outside of DJ Moore, and he gets a Falcons defense that has been generous to TEs all season. With Kmet a regular Red Zone threat and a big play waiting to happen in the middle of the field, he’s a fantastic play this week at only $4,700.
FLEX ODELL BECKHAM, JR. | RAVENS vs. Dolphins | $4,500
I don’t love OBJ here, but I do think he has a chance to have a sneaky good fantasy outing in what should be a high-scoring affair. If Lamar hits him on one or two deep balls in this one, he could be a fantastic value add while allowing you to spend bigger dollars elsewhere.
D/ST LOS ANGELES RAMS | vs. Giants | $3,100
The Rams draw the Giants, who have given up a lot of points to opposing defenses this season. While no one is mistaking the 2023 Rams for the 2008 Steelers, they are a spunky defense capable of making big plays. At this price, they warrant a play this week.
