NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Every Team’s Non-QB MVP So Far

Welcome back to my 2023 NFL Power Rankings ahead of Week 10!

We all know Quarterbacks are the driving force of the NFL, but who are the most valuable figures across the league for each squad outside of that all-important QB position? In this week’s edition of the Power Rankings here at fansfirstsports.com, we take a look at each team’s non-QB MVP after the season’s first half.

Buckle up! Here we go:

1. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES

Non-QB MVP: WR A.J. Brown

He’s the best receiver in football right now and can beat you every way possible.

2. KANSAS CITY CHIEFS

Non-QB MVP: CB Trent McDuffie

McDuffie is playing at an All-Pro level for one of the league’s best and most suprising defenses.

3. BALTIMORE RAVENS

Non-QB MVP: DT Justin Madubuike

Madubuike is the Ravens enforcer along the interior and sets up the rest of the defensive stars with his stellar play.

4. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

Non-QB MVP: OLB Josh Allen

Tough choice between Allen and ILB Foyesade Oluokun, but Allen wins out as one of the premier pass rushers in the game in 2023.

5. DALLAS COWBOYS

Non-QB MVP: WR CeeDee Lamb

CeeDee is right on AJ Brown’s heals right now as the best receiver in the league for a Cowboys offense that’s really starting to put it together despite a tough loss to the Eagles.

6. CINCINNATI BENGALS

Non-QB MVP: DC Lou Anarumo

No coordinator has a more direct affect on the outcome of football games than “Captain Lou” who regularly has his defense overperforming in the weightiest moments of ballgames.

7. MIAMI DOLPHINS

Non-QB MVP: HC Mike McDaniel

McDaniel’s “need for speed” has shaped a new generation of NFL offense, and he deserves the credit for making the Dolphins explosive attack work.

8. SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

Non-QB MVP: RB Christian McCaffery

McCaffery is literally an unstoppable force at the RB position. He might be the only RB in the league that can single-handedly take over games like an elite QB or pass-rusher.

9. DETROIT LIONS

Non-QB MVP: WR Amon-Ra St. Brown

Jared Goff’s top target regularly makes defenders look silly and is one of the premier route runners in the game.

10. BUFFALO BILLS

Non-QB MVP: TE Dalton Kincaid

The Rookie TE might not be most people’s first choice as team MVP behind QB Josh Allen, but since his rise to the clear TE1 with Dawson Knox sidelined, Kincaid has lived up to his draft billing and more. He really opens up this offense.

11. PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Non-QB MVP: T.J. Watt

Watt is one of the top 3 non-QBs in football. Despite some other studs in Pittsburgh, you just have to go with 90.

12. SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Non-QB MVP: CB Riq Woolen

Woolen’s range, length, and speed allow him to run and cover anyone man to man, and the Seahawks rely on him and rookie CB Devon Witherspoon to shut down passing games without a lot of help. For the most part, they’ve been up to the challenge.

13. CLEVELAND BROWNS

Non-QB MVP: DE Myles Garrett

Another one of the top non-QBs in the league, Garrett might be, along with Cowboys LB Micah Parsons, the most complete athlete in the sport regardless of position.

14. LOS ANGELES CHARGERS

Non-QB MVP: DE Joey Bosa

Keenan Allen was tempting here, but Bosa’s just been playing at another level the last 3 or 4 weeks. He’s healthy and is reminding the NFL world just how dangerous he can be when he is.

15. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS

Non-QB MVP: CB Paulson Adebo

Adebo might be a mid-season All-Pro and regularly makes opposing passers pay for sending targets his way. He’s turning into an absolute stud opposite Marcus Lattimore in New Orleans.

16. HOUSTON TEXANS

Non-QB MVP: WR Nico Collins

Collins has developed into an impressive physical force at WR and should continue to raise his game as he further solidifies his already stellar connection with Rookie passer CJ Stroud.

17. NEW YORK JETS

Non-QB MVP: DT Quinnen Williams

Williams is just a monster. He influences entire game plans in the run game and pass game with his ability to wreck offenses from the interior.

18. MINNESOTA VIKINGS

Non-QB MVP: LT Christian Darrisaw

Darrisaw is establishing himself as the gold standard at LT and leads the way for high-powered Vikings offense that continues to thrive despite significant, seemingly crippling injuries to star players.

19. ATLANTA FALCONS

Non-QB MVP: OG Chris Lindstrom

Lindstrom anchors one of the league’s sturdiest offensive lines. He’s a former All-Pro, and may well be on his way to adding more personal hardware to that shelf.

20. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS

Non-QB MVP: CB Kenny Moore II

Moore has been lights out for the Colts in recent weeks. He recorded 2 pick sixes in Week 9 alone.

21. LOS ANGELES RAMS

Non-QB MVP: WR Puka Nacua

He’s just been consistently excellent, even after the return of Cooper Kupp to the lineup. As long as he gets competent QB play, he’s proving to be as reliable as any receiver in football.

22. TENNESSEE TITANS

Non-QB MVP: DT Jeffery Simmons

Total game-wrecker for the Titans along the interior. He’s one of the 3 best interior defenders in the league.

23. TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS

Non-QB MVP: WR Mike Evans

Evans continues to be the WR1 in Tampa despite his advancing age and a relative downgrade at QB from Tom Brady to Baker Mayfield in 2023.

24. DENVER BRONCOS

Non-QB MVP: CB Pat Surtain II

Hands down one of the most talented and physical corners in football. It hasn’t been a good year for the Broncos, but Surtain has still excelled as one of the league’s best cover-men.

25. GREEN BAY PACKERS

Non-QB MVP: DE Rashan Gary

Gary has quietly emerged in a rough season for the Packers as one of the best edge defenders in the game.

26. WASHINGTON COMMANDERS

Non-QB MVP: OC Eric Bienemy

Bienemy has 2nd year QB Sam Howell playing with absolutely no fear, and he’s responded with big performances and has shown tremendous growth. Credit has to go to the Commanders’ OC for setting up his young QB for success and believing in him to distribute the ball to a bevy of talented receivers across the board. It’s been impressive.

27. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS

Non-QB MVP: DE Maxx Crosby

If you don’t mention Crosby in the same breath as the TJ Watts and Myles Garretts of the world, you don’t watch football.

28. CHICAGO BEARS

Non-QB MVP: CB Jaylon Johnson

He’s playing like the best CB in the league according to PFF, and it’s not hard to see why when you watch the tape. He’s the definition of lockdown.

29. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Non-QB MVP: LB Matthew Judon

The numbers aren’t popping for Judon this year like they did in 2022, but he’s still impacting the game for a struggling Patriots squad.

30. NEW YORK GIANTS

Non-QB MVP: RB Saquon Barkley

The war of attrition has officially been lost by the Giants this year. Barkley is one of the few left standing, and he’s played about as well as could be expected with literally no passing game threat to draw attention away from him.

31. CAROLINA PANTHERS

Non-QB MVP: LB Brian Burns

Burns is really, really good at football. His football IQ is off the charts and he plays with a lot of tenacity for a team barely treading water this season.

32. ARIZONA CARDINALS

Non-QB MVP: S Budda Baker

He’s still really good. Explosive on the backend. QBs have to identify where Baker is on the field before every play.

I hope you enjoyed this unique look at the Week 10 NFL Power Rankings. Come back next week for the updated pecking order after what promises to be a wild Week of NFL action.
