On July 22nd, 2024, rookies report in Berea Ohio for the start of the 2024 season and training camp.  The next day is when veteran players report. At that point the team will a charter buses and travel to the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs West Virginia. The team did start their training camp at the Greenbrier in 2023 for the first time. Head Coach Kevin Stefanski attributed their success last season to the team building opportunity in West Virginia. This can be why in 2024 Cleveland Browns fans are optimistic. And with that optimism I have predictions for this season.

My first prediction for 2024 is that running back Nick Chubb will be playing week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. He may only get about 10 carries in the game. But he will play and will be given more carries as the season progresses. With that prediction, I also predict that Nick Chubb will win NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2024.

My second prediction is the Browns will get a full season out of quarterback Deshaun Watson. In Watson’s first 2 seasons with the Browns, he only played in 12 games. This was due to suspension and injuries. The 2022 trade was a gamble for the team, and I believe it will payoff in 2024. He will play in all 17 games and will be at least a top 12 quarterback.

My final prediction is the 2024 Cleveland Browns will make the playoffs in consecutive seasons for the first time since 1988 and 1989. If this team has better luck with injuries in 2024 than they did in 2023. They will win the AFC North Division. This roster has the talent to make an AFC Championship game appearance with no excuses.

These are my predictions. and if I’m wrong then I’m wrong. But there will be no excuses. And 2024 is the season when the Cleveland Browns run out of excuses.
