Jordan Love: Packers Can Win The Super Bowl This Year

After just one season without Aaron Rodgers, the Green Bay Packers are back in the Super Bowl conversation. After a difficult 3-6 start for the youngest team in the league last season, Matt LaFleur rallied his troops. Jordan Love and Co. improved exponentially as the season went along. They finished 9-8 and made the playoffs. Well, not only did they make the playoffs, they went into Dallas in the wildcard round and absolutely torched the Cowboys.

After a disappointing fourth quarter in San Francisco in the divisional round, Green Bay fell right as they were on the doorstep of an NFC Championship Game berth.

Now, Jordan Love and the rest of the team realize the opportunity they have in front of themselves. They know that after an impressive first year with him at the helm, they can win the Super Bowl this season. Love hopped on The Pivot to chat about his and the Packers’ hopes for 2024. Here is what he had to say:

“The organization believes that it’s the perfect time to have a chance to win the Super Bowl this year…Next year, we’re gonna do it…People know what we’re about…We’re hungry.”

This upcoming Packers season may be even more fascinating than last one…if that is at all possible. The reason being that Aaron Rodgers led Green Bay to a Super Bowl in his third season starting (2010). 2024 will be just Love’s second full season starting. Oh, and he finished top-10 among qualified starters in passing touchdowns, pass yards, QBR, and passer rating in year one as a starter. That was only year one!

After coming to within 15 minutes of an NFC Championship Game against what would have been the Detroit Lions, the Packers are hungry for more, and it doesn’t seem like they’ll be going anywhere for a while. Matt LaFleur’s team is ready to go, especially with Love under center. Once they address their team needs in April’s draft, they’ll be even more ready to roll.
