Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Wishlist, Week 13

Another week is in the books. As always, there were huge breakouts from under-the-radar players and dud performances from supposed studs. If you’re looking to shake things up for your Fantasy’s roster ahead of Week 11, here’s some players to add from the Waiver Wire.

Note: All fantasy advice in this article is based on PPR scoring unless otherwise stated.

QUARTERBACKS

JORDAN LOVE | GREEN BAY PACKERS

I’m just going to keep putting Love on this list until Fantasy Managers accept the fact that he’s a Top 12 fantasy QB in 2023. Almost impossibly, he’s available in over 55% of fantasy leagues. If he’s available in yours, roster him.

KENNY PICKETT | PITTSBURGH STEELERS

This is a little bit of projection based on the marked improvement we saw from Pickett in Week 12. Unfortunately, it didn’t correlate to a big fantasy day (only 11.5 pts), but a dropped TD by Diontae Johnson negated another 4 pts, and Pickett actually looked like a mid-level starting QB in his first game without Matt Canada running the offense. He has several plus matchups on the horizon and could provide QB2 production moving forward if the improvements continue.

RUNNING BACKS

CHUBA HUBBARD | CAROLINA PANTHERS

Hubbard plays on the worst team in football that just fired their first-year head coach, so his ceiling is limited, but he is still earning the most touches at RB for the Panthers, and has been the only positive part of a slogging offense the last few weeks. If you need RB depth due to injury or Bye weeks (Ravens, Giants, Bears, Bills, Vikings, Raiders), give Hubbard a look.

KEATON MITCHELL | BALTIMORE RAVENS

The Ravens have a Bye in Week 13, but Mitchell handled his most touches to date and looked explosive again against the Chargers. He’s a boom or bust RB3 with upside. He’s definitely one to watch as the Fantasy playoffs approach.

WIDE RECEIVERS

JAYDEN REED | GREEN BAY PACKERS

Jordan Love’s favorite target the last 5 weeks is still available in over half of fantasy leagues despite putting up double digit fantasy outings in 4 of his last 5 including two 19+ pt performances in Weeks 10 & 11. Pick him up!

GREG DORTCH | ARIZONA CARDINALS

Dortch has 2 straight double digit fantasy days and has a good rapport with Kyler Murray, who’s playing at a high level for Fantasy purposes as well. Dortch’s ceiling is low, but he’s at least earning a consistent target share and some Red Zone looks as well.

TIGHT ENDS

PAT FREIERMUTH | PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Welcome back to the Fantasy landscape, Pat! What a performance for the explosive TE after earning a season high 11 targets and 9 catches for 120 yards. The Steelers could look to run their passing offense through Freiermuth in the middle of the field post-Matt Canada. If so, the man they call “Muth” is a true TE1 option for the rest of the season. Add him if he’s available.

TYLER HIGBEE | LOS ANGELES RAMS

Higbee had a great fantasy day with 2 TDs and is a favorite Red Zone target for his red hot QB. He’s available in over 60% of fantasy leagues, and with the TE position as shaky as ever, he could be a huge boost to your fantasy team.
