Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Wishlist, Playoffs Edition

The fantasy regular season is winding down and many leagues are starting their playoffs in Week 15. If you made it to the Fantasy Dance, congratulations! You navigated a seemingly unprecedented war of attrition in the NFL this year, and you have a shot at a Championship!

For this week, I’ll be highlighting FIVE must add player on the Waiver Wire to strengthen your roster for a playoff push. Let’s dive in!

Note: All fantasy advice in this article is based on PPR scoring unless otherwise stated.

TOP 5 PLAYOFF MUST-ADDS

QB MATT STAFFORD | LOS ANGELES RAMS

Stafford is playing like one of the best QBs in football and it’s finally translating consistently to the Fantasy world. Stafford has 10 TD passes in his last 3 games, scoring 23+ fpts in each contest. Forget adding him to your bench for depth purposes. This is a starting Fantasy QB the fantasy playoffs (vs. WAS, vs. NO, @ NYG).

QB JAKE BROWNING | CINCINNATI BENGALS

If Jake Browning’s hand is okay, he’s another starting caliber fantasy QB right now, especially considering all the injuries to the position this season. I don’t trust him as much as Stafford, but Browning is showing consistent ability to produce in big moments. He has 25.7 and 24.7 fpts over the last two weeks.

RB CHASE BROWN | CINCINNATI BENGALS

Another Bengal makes this list. Brown is as explosive as they come out of the backfield, and he’s earning more work in this Cincy backfield. That explosiveness resulted in 100+ yds from scrimmage last week and 19+ ppr fpts. If his role continues to stay solid, he’s a candidate for big production moving forward.

WR O’DELL BECKHAM JR. | BALTIMORE RAVENS

When OBJ is healthy, he still looks like a really good receiver, and this Baltimore passing attack is clicking with Lamar Jackson playing some of the best football of his career. 10 targets in Week 14 turned into 4 catches for 97 yds and a TD, and he seems to have regained some of his explosive playmaking ability in recent weeks. He’s a weekly flex with upside.

WR JAYDEN REED | GREEN BAY PACKERS

Right now Reed is QB Jordan Love’s favorite target and the Packers scheme their offense around his playmaking ability. It was another 12 touches (8 rec) and a TD against the Giants in Week 14 for the Rookie, who’s turning into a high-volume player for the Pack and should be a must-add in your league if he’s available.

That does it for this week’s Waiver Wire Wishlist. For more details about these players, tune into the Fantasy First Podcast on Tuesdays and Thursdays where I discuss Waiver Wire targets, Thursday Night Football player and team props, DFS Darlings, and more!
