While Cleveland Browns fans eagerly await the official NFL announcement for the 2024 Season Opening Philadelphia Eagles opponent in Brazil. The official schedule will probably be announced in the first week of May shortly after the College Football Draft. With schedule announcement comes the schedule game. Every NFL expert prognosticator tries to predict every team’s final record, division champions, conference champions, and Super Bowl Champion. Every fan likes to be optimistic of their team’s chances and Cleveland Browns fans are no different.

After going 11-6 with 26% of their Salary Cap on injured reserve in 2023. Browns fans feel optimistic of their team’s outlook in 2024. The Cleveland Browns should have their Franchise quarterback ready and healthy to play in the 2024 season opener. Running Back Nick Chubb is also progressing well in his rehab. Chubb is expected to be able to contribute in 2024. The question is when and how much he can contribute. On the other side of the ball, the Cleveland Browns will be fielding 9 out of 11 starters from last year’s top ranked defense. Free agents LB Jordan Hicks and LB Devin Bush were signed to replace LB Sione Taki Taki and LB Anthony Walker. And DT Jordan Elliott was replaced with DT Quinton Jefferson. The biggest obstacle for the Browns in 2024 is the rest of the division.

It can be argued that the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Baltimore Ravens all made moves to get better this offseason. The Steelers acquired both quarterback Russell Wilson and Justin Fields via trade and free agency. This was a definite upgrade for them at the quarterback position. The Ravens looked to bolster their running game by signing free agent running back Derrick Henry. And don’t forget the Bengals offseason acquisitions of DT Sheldon Rankins and RB Zack Moss. Every team in the division had a good offseason including the Browns with the trade for WR Jerry Jeudy. The AFC North in 2024 will be a dog fight for the division title. So, who will win the 2024 AFC North?

The AFC North Division is so competitive it is nearly impossible to predict a champion. Going by what happened in 2023. The team that is the healthiest and have their starting quarterback start in all 17 games will win the division. That and some luck would be the determining factor for the 2024 AFC North Champion. I always like to say that luck is preparation meeting opportunity. How prepared the Cleveland Browns are in 2024 will be shown with the opportunity on the field.
