Browns Go Full Jameis, Lose to Broncos, 41-32

On Monday December 2nd the 3-8 Cleveland Browns traveled to Denver Colorado to play the 7-5 Denver Broncos on a nationally televised Monday Night Football game at Empower Field at Mile High. The Browns last game was 24-19 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers 11 days prior on Thursday Night Football in Cleveland.  The Broncos last game was 29-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Las Vegas Nevada. Cleveland was a 6-point underdog in this game and the history of the Browns playing in Denver has not gone well for the Browns. Can history be repeated, or a new future be made?

History was made in this game, Browns quarterback Jameis Winston passed for 497 yards, 4 touchdowns, 3 interceptions, for a quarterback rating of 88.1. Jerry Jeudy had a career game with 9 catches for 235 yards and 1 touchdown. Jeudy was extra motivated facing his old team in Denver. The Browns outgained the Broncos 552 yards to 400 yards in a losing effort. The difference in this game was Cleveland quarterback Jameis Winston throwing 2 interceptions returned for touchdowns which led to the final score of Denver winning 41-32.

The Browns fall to 3-9 and head to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania next Sunday December 8th, at 1pm eastern time, to take on their division rival Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers won their last game in Cincinnati in high scoring game as well. The defeated the Bengals 44-38. The last game against the Steelers was a snow game on Thursday night when the Browns won 24-19 in Cleveland. With the playoffs out of reach for the Browns, they can play the role of spoilers with the remaining 5 games on the schedule. For the Cleveland Browns winning in Denver has always been hard, and winning in Pittsburgh is even harder.
