Around the NFC South: Week 11
Todd Bowles is feeling the heat turn up on his seat after his Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost 27-14 to the San Francisco 49ers. Tampa Bay could not get the run game going against the 49ers which forced Baker Mayfield to attempt 45 passes. He finished with 246 yards and one touchdown and one interception. He spread those 246 yards around to eight different receivers. Cade Otton led the way for the pass catchers with 4 catches for 49 yards. The Buccaneers play the Indianapolis Colts on the road in week 12.
It was another tough week for the Carolina Panthers who lost to the Dallas Cowboys 33-10. Bryce Young was not great in this game but he was not terrible either. He threw for 123 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The interception was returned for a touchdown. The jury is still out on Young. Carolina needs to add quite a bit of talent around him before they will know what he is capable of. The Panthers play the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
The New Orleans Saints had their bye in week 11 and will play the Falcons in week 12.
The Atlanta Falcons were also on a bye in week 11 and play the Saints on Sunday.
