Around the NFC North: Week 11

In what turned out to be one of the best games of week 11, the Detroit Lions beat the Chicago Bears 31-26. Detroit did not take its first lead of the game until David Montgomery found the end zone with 29 seconds left to go in the game. Following the two-point conversion the Lions led the game 29-26. The Bears got the ball back with a chance to win the game but Aidan Hutchinson sacked Justin Fields and knocked the ball loose for a safety. Jared Goff ended the day with 236 yards passing. 120 of those yards came in the fourth quarter. Fields played pretty well in his return throwing for 169 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 104 yards. The Lions host the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving and the Bears play the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football.

The Vikings suffered a tough loss to the Denver Broncos in week 11. Denver scored 12 fourth quarter points to win the game 21-20. Joshua Dobbs continues to impress in his time with the Vikings. He threw for 221 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Minnesota continues to play without star receiver Justin Jefferson. It looks like he could return for the Monday night match-up with the Bears.

The Green Bay Packers got a good win at home 23-20 over the Los Angeles Chargers. Jordan Love had his best day of the season throwing for 322 yards and two touchdowns. He led a six-play 75-yard touchdown drive to take the lead with just over two minutes left in the game. The Green Bay defense would stop the Los Angeles offense twice in the last two minutes to secure the win. The Packers head to Detroit to play the Lions on Thanksgiving this week.
