Around the AFC West: Week 11

In one of the best week 11 games, the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles 21-17 on Monday Night Football. The line for Patrick Mahomes who was 24 of 43 for 177 yards with two touchdowns and one interception does not look great, but he threw a perfect pass to Marquez Valdez-Scantling with just under two minutes in the game that would have put the Chiefs ahead. MVS dropped the pass and the Chiefs couldn’t convert on the drive. The Chiefs travel to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders this week.

The Denver Broncos won their fourth straight game with a dramatic 21-20 win over the Minnesota Vikings. The turnaround in Denver has been pretty remarkable. Russell Wilson threw for 259 yards and one touchdown. That touchdown came with just over a minute left when he found Cortland Sutton for the go-ahead score. The Broncos take on the Cleveland Browns in week 12.

The Las Vegas Raiders saw their two-game winning streak come to an end in Miami when they lost to the Dolphins 20-13. Aiden O’Connell threw three interceptions in the loss. The Raiders defense did a nice job holding the vaunted Miami offense to just 20 points. The Raiders host the Chiefs on Sunday.

In Green Bay the Los Angeles Chargers suffered their second straight loss. Justin Herbert played well in the loss with 260 passing yards and one touchdown. Keenan Allen had 10 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown in the defeat. Los Angeles got the ball back twice inside of two minutes with a chance to win or tie but fell short both times. The Chargers take on the Baltimore Ravens in week 12.
