Around the AFC North: Week 16

Lamar Jackson led the Baltimore Ravens to an impressive 33-19 win over the San Francisco 49ers on Christmas night. Jackson threw for 252 yards and two touchdowns and added 45 yards on the ground. Zay Flowers had one of the biggest games of his career with nine catches for 72 yards and a touchdown. The win gives the Ravens a one-game lead over the Miami Dolphins for the number one seed in the AFC. The Ravens play those Dolphins on Sunday.

Joe Flacco made it three straight wins on Sunday when he led the Cleveland Browns to a 36-22 victory over the Houston Texans. Flacco threw for 368 yards and three touchdowns. It was a career day for Amari Cooper who had 11 catches for 265 yards and two touchdowns. What the Browns have done after losing Nick Chubb and Deshaun Watson for the year has been very impressive. They play the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football this week.

The Pittsburgh Steelers knocked off the Cincinnati Bengals 34-11 behind 290 yards and two touchdowns from Mason Rudolph. George Pickens had a huge day with four catches for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Najee Harris added 78 yards and a touchdown rushing. The Steelers defense also had a good day intercepting Jake Browning three times. Tee Higgins had five catches for 140 yards and a touchdown in the loss. Both of these teams are 8-7 and still barely alive in the AFC playoff picture. The Steelers play the Seattle Seahawks in week 17 while the Bengals play the Kansas City Chiefs.
