Around the AFC North: Week 11
It was a brutal start to the week for the AFC North on Thursday Night Football. The Baltimore Ravens beat the Cincinnati Bengals 34-20, but the Ravens lost Mark Andrews to a season-ending ankle injury in the process. The injury to Andrew was not the only major injury of the night. Joe Burrow also exited the game in the first half after injuring his wrist. He did not return. Jake Browing finished the game for the Bengals throwing for 68 yards and a touchdown.
It was not all bad for the Ravens. Lamar Jackson had a big night throwing for 264 yards and two touchdowns and adding 54 yards on the ground. The Ravens travel to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers in week 12 while the Bengals will host the Pittsburgh Steelers.
In a battle of two good defenses and two bad offenses, the Cleveland Browns knocked off the Pittsburgh Steelers 13-10. Dorian Thompson-Robinson only threw for 165 yards but got his first NFL win for the Browns. Believe it or not, those 165 yards were better than Kenny Pickett’s 106 passing yards. Jaylen Warren enjoyed the most success of any skill player in this game carrying the ball nine times for 129 yards and a touchdown. The Steelers take on the Cincinnati Bengals in week 11 while the Browns travel to Denver to take on the Broncos.
