Around the AFC East: Week 14

It was a Monday night to forget in Miami when the Dolphins became the first team in NFL history to lose a game in regulation when leading by 14 or more points with less than four minutes to go in the game when they lost 28-27 to the Tennessee Titans. Miami got a pick six and two touchdown drives of less than 12 yards each from turnovers by the Titans but were unable to come away with a win. They were forced to play much of the game without Tyreek Hill who injured his ankle in the first quarter. He was in and out in the second half and still finished with 61 yards on four catches. Raheem Mostert was the star of the game for the Dolphins scoring two rushing touchdowns. The Dolphins host the New York Jets in week 15.

The Buffalo Bills got a huge 20-17 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Joe Brady, who took over as the Bills offensive coordinator when Ken Dorsey was fired earlier this season, has unlocked running back James Cook. In this game, Cook had 141 total yards and a touchdown. Josh Allen was pretty good in this one as well throwing for 233 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 32 yards and another touchdown. The win keeps the Bills hopes of an AFC East title hope alive. They have a huge showdown with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Zach Wilson took back over as the starting quarterback for the New York Jets and led his team to a 30-6 win over the Houston Texans. Wilson threw for 301 yards and two touchdowns in the victory. Garrett Wilson was his favorite target on the day finishing with nine catches for 108 yards. The Jets defense racked up five sacks on the afternoon. The Jets take on the Dolphins this week.

The New England Patriots moved to 3-10 on the season with a Thursday Night Football win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. New England jumped out to an early lead when Hunter Henry caught two first half touchdowns. They also got a great night from Ezekiel Elliott who had 22 carries for 68 yards and seven catches for 72 yards and a touchdown. The Patriots host the Kansas City Chiefs in week 15.
