Cavs Roll to 8 in Row, Beat Bucks 116-114
On Monday November the Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the Milwaukee Bucks at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland Ohio. This is a rematch from Saturday night’s thrilling Cavaliers win of 114-113 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. The Cavaliers are one of the hottest teams in the NBA starting their season with 7-0 record. The Milwaukee Bucks are off to a slow start with a 1-5 record. I warned before the last game, don’t let the record fool you. Milwaukee is a talented team that can beat any team in the NBA. The Cleveland Cavaliers will have to be prepared to win this game.
The Milwaukee Bucks were without their star player Giannis Antetokounmpo, he has a right abductor strain and was ruled out for the game. The Cavaliers did come out to play in the first half of this game. They stormed out to a 73-point first half and led the Bucks by 13 points at halftime. In the 3rd quarter the Cavaliers only managed to score 16 points and trailed going into the 4th quarter 91-89. But the Cavaliers did endure and came up with a big 8-0 run to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 116-114 and start the season 8-0. This is the Cleveland Cavaliers best start since the 1976-1977 season.
Darius Garland led the Cavaliers in scoring with 39 points in 35 minutes. His last 3-point shot was the dagger to the Bucks, it gave the Cavaliers a 2-point lead with 45 seconds left in the game. Another hero of the game was Jarrett Allen of the Cavaliers. He had another double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds in 34 minutes. Allen also had a key blocked shot late in the game to seal the Cavaliers victory. Up next for this team is the New Orleans Pelicans in New Orleans on Wednesday at 8 pm eastern time. Can they make it 9 in a row? I can’t wait to find out on Wednesday night!
