Mercedes Mone Wins Third Championship at Wrestle Dynasty
Mercedes Mone has a lot to brag about, as she walked out of Wrestle Dynasty at the Tokyo Dome with three belts.
The âCEOâ entered Sundayâs match with the TBS title from AEW.
Mone also put her New Japan Strong title on the line against Mina Shirakawa.
After a Mone Maker slam, Mercedes pinned Mina to capture the Undisputed British womenâs championship.
RETURN OF THE ELITE
Kenny Omega came back to the Tokyo Dome, where he has created a legacy of amazing matches. He defeated brash upstart Gabe Kidd.
Omega is also scheduled to return to AEW this week on Dynamite.
Speaking of The Elite, the Young Bucks won their second IWGP tag team title. Nick & Matt Jackson defeated Jeff Cobb & Great O-Khan and Los Ingobernables de Japon.
Elite member Jack Perry didnât have such a good time, losing to Yota Tsuji.
STILL THE CHAMP
Zack Sabre Jr. made his second IWGP World title defense in as many days. After being Shota Umino at Wrestle Kingdom 19, ZSJ scored a submission win over Ricochet at Wrestle Dynasty.
Umino bounced back from his loss to defeat Claudio Castagnoli.
Konosuke Takeshita beat Tomohiro Ishii to retain the AEW International and NEVER Openweight titles.
David Finlay defeated Brody King from AEWâs House of Black.
Katsuyori Shibata slugged it out with Hiroshi Tanahashi in a five-minute draw.
Taiji Ishimori opened the show by winning the eight-man Lucha gauntlet match, which featured Japanese and Mexican wrestlers.
PRE-SHOW ACTION
Dominant ROH womenâs champion Athena suffered a rare loss in the International Womenâs Cup four-way match.
Momo Watanabe from Stardom pinned Athena in a match that also included Willow Nightingale from AEW and Persephone from CMLL.
ROH tag team champions Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara retained the belts with a win over SHO & Yoshinobu Kanemaru.
Dustin was making his first appearance at the Tokyo Dome in 32 years.
