Kevin Owens Attacks Cody Rhodes After Saturday Night’s Main Event

Kevin Owens is not finished with WWE champion Cody Rhodes.

Even though Rhodes prevailed at the end of Saturday Night’s Main Event, Owens attacked him after the show and laid him out with a piledriver.

Owens had already sidelined Randy Orton with a piledriver.

Rhodes wore the old-school “Winged Eagle” belt to the ring and won with the Cross Rhodes onto a chair.

WOMEN’S US CHAMP

Chelsea Green became the first women’s United States champion in WWE history. She beat Michin with the Unpretty-Her in the final match of an eight-woman tournament.

Gunther retained the World title in a Triple Threat match against Finn Balor and Damien Priest. “The Ring General” hit a powerbomb on Balor for the win.

Liv Morgan hung onto the World women’s title with a victory over Iyo Sky.

Morgan hit the Obilivion (flatliner off the ropes) to score the victory. Rhea Ripley confronted Morgan after the match.

Drew McIntyre won the opener over Sami Zayn with the Claymore Kick.

NIGHT OF LEGENDS

WWE brought back several stars from the 1980s era of Saturday Night’s Main Event, most notably announcer Jesse “The Body” Ventura.

Other returning favorites included Tito Santana, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Koko B. Ware, and Jimmy Hart.
