Jose Ramirez, Emmanuel Clase Earn All-MLB Team Honors for Cleveland Guardians

Jose Ramirez and Emmanuel Clase earned spots on the first team of the All-MLB Awards, as announced on Nov. 14.

Ramirez, who just won his fifth AL Silver Slugger award at third base, came close to becoming the second player in history to record 40 homers, 40 stolen bases, and 40 doubles in a season.

Ramirez made the first team for the first time. He was on the second team in 2020 and 2023.

Clase broke the Guardians record with 47 saves. He also posted a 0.61 ERA and is a contender for the Cy Young Award.

This was the second time Clase has made the first team. The other time was in 2022. He was on the second team last year.

In addition, Clase won the Mariano Rivera Reliever of the Year award in the American League. St. Louis closer Ryan Halsley won the award in the National League go with the other relief spot on the All-MLB team.

Next week, MLB will give out the Rookie of the Year, Cy Young, Manager of the Year, and MVP awards.
