Thursday night NFL games have gotten a bad rap for years. The prevailing thought amongst the viewership is that it’s a subpar product.

With less time between Sunday and Thursday as compared to a full week, it stands to reason that teams should be expected to be somewhat less prepared. But whether or not the games live up to the standard of Sunday football isn’t the purpose here.

TNF makes money for the NFL. And we want to make money on that. Because if we’re going to bet on the games, we’d rather win — regardless of how good or bad the on-field play is.
