Everything We Know About The Rangers Partnership With Victory Plus
The Texas Rangers’ long-awaited TV deal saga is finally in the books.
After being the only team in Major League Baseball without a broadcast deal, we now know where Rangers fans will be watching games in 2025.
Victory Plus and the Rangers announced a partnership to bring a direct-to-consumer streaming home for 2025’s TV broadcasts.
Fans will be able to pay $100 for a full season pass to watch every regular season game and select Spring Training games.
“The Rangers’ partnership with Victory+ as our direct-to-consumer provider is a tremendous first step as the club continues to finalize our television offerings for 2025 game broadcasts,” said Chairman, of Rangers Sports Media & Entertainment Company Neil Leibman. “Victory+ has proven itself over the past few months as a reliable streaming home for several professional sports teams, and we feel Rangers fans will enjoy the familiarity, convenience, and simplicity of this service.”
Back in the summer, the Dallas Stars announced that they would begin broadcasting their games on Victory Plus and since have seen viewership increase significantly.
However, Stars games on Victory Plus are free for all fans to watch whereas Rangers games will not be.
Much like they do for the Stars, Victory Plus is expected to provide exclusive behind-the-scenes content and fan giveaways during the Rangers season.
We do not yet know officially which markets will have Rangers games available but for the Stars fans in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas can access the broadcasts.
Fans outside of whatever the designated market is will still have to stream games through MLB TV.
The Rangers have also announced that “additional details and more ways to watch the Rangers will be announced soon”.
