Elvis Andrus Featured As Rangers Announce 2025 Television Broadcasters
It’s not often that the words new and familiar are used in the same sentence when talking about someone but for Elvis Andrus and Rangers fans, that will be the case in 2025.
After a 15-year MLB career, Andrus will be dipping his toe into the TV waters as a contributor to the Rangers pre and post-game shows.
The longtime Rangers shortstop was one of seven broadcasters announced on Tuesday as members of the Rangers Sports Network broadcast team.
Pre and post-game shows featuring Andrus will be simulcast on 105.3 The Fan and will be primarily hosted by Jared Sandler but will also feature radio announcers Eric Nadel and Matt Hicks who will remain in their respective roles in 2025.
During the broadcasts, things will remain unchanged in the booth with Dave Raymond continuing his role as the play-by-play announcer and Mike Bacsik and David Murphy continuing in the color commentator roles.
On the field, however, there will be some changes as longtime dugout reporter Emily Jones will take a lesser role in 2025, paving the way for Laura Stickells to become the primary field reporter.
Stickells is a Stanford alum who most recently worked as NESN as a host for the Boston Red Sox AA affiliate the Worcester Red Sox in 2024. She has also covered college hockey with NESN and ESPN +.
The Rangers Sports Network will be available in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and the easternmost counties of New Mexico via either cable or Victory Plus. Fans outside of those will remain watching on MLB.TV.
