Drew McIntyre Makes His Pitch for WWE Money in the Bank

Drew McIntyre has not given up on his quest to win the World title, even though CM Punk has ripped that chance away twice this year.

McIntyre qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match last night on Raw, defeating Sheamus and Ilya Dragunov in a Triple Threat match.

After the match, McIntyre said he would not only win the ladder match, but he would also cash in the briefcase at the pay-per-view and walk out with the World title.

McIntyre will battle for the World title contract against Carmelo Hayes, Jey Uso, Chad Gable, Andrade, and LA Knight.

On the women’s side, Zoey Stark qualified for Money in the Bank with a win over Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile.

Her opponents at the pay-per-view will be Chelsea Green, Iyo Sky, Naomi, Lyra Valkryia, and Tiffany Stratton.

LIV AND DOM

Liv Morgan and Dominic Mysterio continued to get involved in each other’s matches. Dominic caused a distraction that helped Morgan retain the World women’s title against Zelina Vega.

Later in the evening, Dominic was facing his father, Rey Mysterio, in a rematch from last year’s WrestleMania. Vega went for revenge against Morgan, causing Dominic to get crotched on the top rope and to lose to his dad again.

In the opening match, Xavier Woods defeated Karrion Kross. The Final Testament group injured Woods’ partner, Kofi Kingston, after the match.

Smackdown will take place on Friday in Toronto, the same site as Saturday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
