Josh Kelly is quietly, and only because the national media is not watching enough, making a case as one of the most impactful transfers in the season. Not only that, but he is making a case for himself as one of the best receivers in conference play and in the nation. And that is saying something considering how out of sorts the passing game has looked this year.

Now against Baylor, a team Texas Tech should comfortably crush, is a chance to make a huge statement. Behren Morton needs to help out here, as does the offensive line to give the passing game time, but this could be a moment for Kelly to get everyone to acknowledge what he is doing. This spotlight is just to say, be looking for some fireworks. I am confident Kelly will produce, as he has all season, but I want to see him run Baylor out of the stadium after the catch.

Against the weakest remaining team on the schedule, it is time for this passing attack to fly and Josh Kelly to carry that load.
