There is only one possible answer for this question. One of the best linebackers in the country, and one of the highest graded of Week 6, is just too easy. Jacob Rodriguez was phenomenal against Arizona. Not only was constantly harassing the Wildcat quarterback, he was everywhere else on the field as well.

8 tackles, a sack, three pressures, and punching out the game winning fumble. Rodriguez is a special talent, paired with his partner in crime Ben Roberts Texas Tech has a one of the better linebacker groups in the nation.

What makes Rodriguez so good, besides his size and how well he moves it, is his instincts. He seems to sniff out the ball and to it with a vengeance. While the Red Raiders are giving up yardage, and did so Saturday night, Rodriguez is a big part of how they are able to bend and not break. Can’t wait to watch more of this guy play this year.
