This is a bit of a cop-out answer for this week, but the reality is no single player is going to be bigger than the secondary both getting healthy and just playing better. Noah Fifita is not a great quarterback, but McMillan is a great receiver and if Tech leaves him running free both could break some records. The Red Raider secondary was lucky for that missed field goal and the win, or there would be a heated spotlight on them for even more wrong reasons.

Injuries are hurting them, as I mentioned their health matters immensely. But the overall effort and communication must be better. This is a serious next-man up moment for this group, they show up and perform this will be a road win for the ages. And it will set Texas Tech up as the favorite to win this conference and the automatic bid. Not an exaggeration, a good secondary will make this team fly.
