I don’t want to be greedy and demanding this year. Last season I had high expectations and was let down immensely. This year, I want to be a measured fan, with manageable expectations. But despite that, Texas Tech has five straight games they will be favored in all five to win. In fact, the first three games (as I have written about previously) are all multiple score win expectations.

Arizona State and Cincinnati will be real tests, and Tech historically has been bad on the road which makes that Washington State game potentially a trap. But there is no doubt you should be the better team in all five games. Starting 5-0 is the expectation, and if it achieved the hype train will be flying down the track.

Never take a single victory for granted, anything can and will happen. Especially when Texas freaking Tech takes the field, we all know nothing is safe. But the goal, the expectation, should be to get off to a red hot start.
