Texas Tech had a hell of a year on the recruiting trail to compile the studs of the 2024 class. Micah Hudson being one of the highest rated recruits ever to grace the Red Raider campus, but future quarterback star Will Hammond, offensive lineman Ellis Davis, and the big EDGE Cheta Ofili are just a few of the high profile talents part of this monster class.

After years of Kliff being lazy on the trail, followed by Matt Wells ignoring the recruiting trail in favor of transfers, it was a relief to see Joey McGuire capitalize on his high school connections and energetic staff to attack recruiting. Whil most of these players will be future stars, expect to see a steady dose of Micah Hudson right away as he catapults to stardom early.

The class would rank 25th overall and was by a wide margin the number one class of the new iteration of the Big 12. I cannot wait to see these young talents in action.
