This last article of our countdown is the simplest. The goal of the year, of every year, is to win. And with kickoff tomorrow the goal should be to just win the damn thing.

All the hype, all the videos, all the new unis none of that matters anymore. Your 22 guys will take on their 22 guys, and that fight will be all that matters. It is the best time of year, and can be the worst. My heart I am sure will struggle to survive this year, but at the end of the day we are finally here. No more wishing and wanting, we will see the Red and Black show us if they have learned all those lessons drilled in during the offseason to get wins. We made it folks, by God we made it to the start of the season. And it could not be more beautiful.
