It is National Signing Day, but before we recap all the going ons there we wanted to look back on the Bowl Victory over Cal. The reason being that the bowl win is key to maintaining offseason momentum, and it was just a lot of fun to talk about the young stars and bright future.

After a rough start to the game, Texas Tech would crush the Cal Golden Bears by a score of 34-14, not allowing a point in the final three quarters. In a game that looked like it might be a high flying affair, Texas Tech grounded both the Cal passing attack and rushing attack. A healthy Behren Morton tossed the ball well and Texas Tech cruised to a victory in the Independence Bowl. One last recap recording to close the book on football, and it was for a bowl win. You just have to love that, and hopefully this starts a long and prosperous win streak for the program.
