Welcome back for week three of Big 12 Football. Teams are starting to get a grasp on their identity, and, to be quite honest, some aren’t. But time doesn’t stop for the weak, and neither does our recap or look ahead. So let’s get to it.

Kansas- The Jayhawks took care of Illinois after a strong first half even though their jerseys were repulsive. They next head to Nevada which should deliver the birds to a 3-0 start. 9/16 9:30 p.m. CBSSN.

Baylor- The Bears were handed a second consecutive loss at home by Utah. Questionable officiating was all over this game and Baylor seemed to have gotten the short end of the stick. They host Long Island this weekend. 9/16 11:00 a.m. ESPN+

Kansas State- The Wildcats took care of an inferior Troy team at home and now go on the road to face Mizzou reuniting an old rivalry. 9/16 11:00 a.m. SECN

BYU- Cougars took care of…Southern Utah? Yep SU couldn’t cut it 41-16. BYU travels to Fayetteville for a tough test against the Razorbacks this weekend. 9/16 6:30 p.m. ESPN2

Iowa State- Well, CyHawk could’ve gone better for the Cyclones. 20-13 in favor of the Hawks stings. Next up? At Ohio. Not Ohio State. Ohio. They still might lose. 9/16 11:00 a.m. ESPNU

Oklahoma- The Sooners took care of SMU at home in rather non-impressive fashion 28-11. OU makes the long road trip to Tulsa this weekend to take on the Golden Hurricane. 9/16 2:30 p.m. ESPN2

West Virginia- The Mountaineers dismantled Duquesne 56-17. Obviously. They host Pitt in the Backyard Brawl this weekend. 9/16 6:30 p.m. ABC

Cincinnati- The Bearcats beat that very same Pitt team this past weekend by 6 on the road. Next? The Bearcats host Miami (OH). 9/16 6:00 p.m. ESPN+

Texas- Well it seems to be Christmas in September on the 40 acres. Is Texas back? Some are saying so. They host Wyoming this weekend. 9/16 7:00 p.m. LHN

Texas Tech- Red Raiders lose a heartbreaker at home to Oregon. 4 turnovers from the QB killed Tech. Red Raiders host Tarleton this weekend. 9/16 6:00 p.m. ESPN+

UCF- The Knights won ugly in Boise 18-16 on the blue turf. The UCF machine is rolling strong-ish. They host Villanova this weekend. 9/16 5:30 p.m. ESPN+

Houston- The Cougars were exposed this weekend in an absolutely abysmal loss to Rice in 2OT. They play their first conference game in conference in prime time on FOX against TCU this weekend. 9/16 7:00 p.m. FOX

TCU- Frogs took care of Nicholls? Good for them getting back on track. Houston is up next.

Oklahoma State- The Pokes took care of Arizona State by 12 in Tempe, and now hosts South Alabama at home. 9/16 6:00 p.m. ESPN+
