Bryan Danielson to Put Wrestling Career on the Line at All In

Bryan Danielson will win the AEW World title at All In … or he will retire.

“The American Dragon” made that announcement last night on Dynamite in a respectful conversation with current champion Swerve Strickland.

Last September, Dragon announced on Collision in Cleveland (I was there!) that he had promised his family that he was entering his last year of competition.

AMERICAN OR INTERNATIONAL?

Will Ospreay won the opening match over “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer. Before the bout, he discussed his All In match with MJF.

Ospreay will try to recapture the International title in front of his fans in England and save it from MJF’s current rebranding as the “American” title.

Kris Statlander defeated Willow Nightingale with an assist from manager Stokely Hathaway. As a result, Stat earned a shot at Willow’s CMLL (Mexican) women’s title.

Roderick Strong, Rush & The Beast Mortos upset the Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe & Tomohiro Ishii). Mortos pinned Briscoe to move into contention for the Ring Of Honor title.

“The Brickhouse” Kamille debuted in the ring with a quick win over Brittany Jade. Kamille is in the perfect spot as Mercedes Mone’s bodyguard.

In the main event, Darby Allin continued his hot streak with a victory over former AEW World champion “Hangman” Adam Page.

Allin will get a shot at TNT champion Jack Perry at All In, and he will also get a World title shot next month on the Grand Slam episode of Dynamite in New York.

This Saturday’s episode of Collision will start at 5 p.m. Eastern to avoid running into WWE’s SummerSlam, which will start at 7 p.m. The Acclaimed challenged FTR to a match at Collision.
