Bryan Danielson Brawls with Jeff Jarrett on AEW Dynamite

Bryan Danielson is checking off his “wrestling bucket list” before his possible final match against Swerve Strickland at the All In pay-per-view later this month.

“Memphis-style brawl with Jeff Jarrett” was on the list last night on AEW Dynamite from Winston-Salem, N.C.

Danielson won the hardcore battle after a chair-assisted running knee strike.

Strickland came out after the match and noted how difficult it was for Danielson to beat Jarrett. The champion will take on Wheeler Yuta in a “warm-up match” next week on Dynamite.

Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, a legend in the Carolinas and everywhere else, was a guest commentator for the match.

AN “AMERICAN” HEEL?

MJF is antagonizing the crowd by changing the International title to the American title before his title defense at All In against Will Ospreay.

MJF opened the show with a non-title win over Ospreay’s friend, Kyle Fletcher from Australia. That inspired MJF to bring back the Kangaroo Kick before hitting a brainbuster for the win.

Mariah May defeated Viva Van with Toni Storm’s piledriver, the Storm Zero. Storm attacked her former protégée and held up a sign that read “DIE MARIAH DIE.”

Katsuyori Shibata defeated “The Bounty Hunter” Bryan Keith before getting attacked by Chris Jericho and Big Bill. Hook made the save, so he could target Jericho at All In to regain the FTW title

Orange Cassidy’s tag team partners in the Conglomeration were sidelined by Hurricane Debby. FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) stepped in, and the new trio defeated Roderick Strong, Rush, and The Beast Mortos.

Kamille squashed Clara Carter & Jasmine Hao in a handicap match. TBS champion Mercedes Mone then exchanged insults with challenger at All In, Britt Baker.
