Breakk Stuff: Intercontinental Title Changes Hands on WWE Monday Night Raw

Bron Breakker didn’t lose the Intercontinental title for long.

He recaptured the belt last night on Raw with a win over Jey Uso.

Breakker, son of Rick Steiner, won the belt for the first time from Sami Zayn at SummerSlam before dropping it to Uso four weeks ago.

Solo and Jacob Fatu showed up (With tickets? At the end of the show?). Jey Uso refused Solo’s invitation to “Join us!”

Fatu took that personally and gave Uso a Samoan drop onto the announcers’ table. Breakker took advantage and hit the spear on Uso to recapture the IC title.

TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT

The New Day opened the show with a win over the Authors of Pain, who were distracted by a fight between R-Truth and The Miz at ringside.

Wyatt Sicks then showed up to brawl with the Authors’ faction, The Final Testament.

Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee defeated The Creed Brothers after ringside shenanigans between their respective groups, the Latino World Order and American Made.

The War Raiders will face New Day and LWO next week on Raw in a Triple Threat match. The winning team will be the top contenders to Judgment Day’s World tag team title.

RIPLEY WRECKS SHOP

Iyo Sky & Kairi Sane (Damage CTRL) beat Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez by disqualification thanks to outside interference from Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson. The Meta-Four duo couldn’t wait for tonight’s match on NXT against Damage CTRL.

Rhea Ripley then showed up and laid waste to Morgan and Rodriguez. Dominick Mysterio tried to help, but Ripley put him in the Prism Trap submission hold.

OTHER NEWS

Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed couldn’t stop attacking each other, so Raw General Manager Adam Pearce made a match between them at Crown Jewel on Nov. 2.

Samantha Irvin stepped down as Raw ring announcer. She is one of greatest ring announcers of all time. Lilian Garcia came back, after working for WWE from 1999-2009 and 2012-2016.
