Best College Football Bets For Week 4

Illinois at Nebraska

A team that has gained much respect and quickly is the Matt Rhule-led Cornhuskers. Dylan Raiola has come in as a true freshman and made an immediate impact under center. This is not typically a ranked matchup but Illinois and Nebraska have crept their way into the Top 25. Are we ready to fully believe in Nebraska? With the number where it is, back the Illini.

PICK: Illinois +8.5

USC at Michigan

Michigan has not played like the reigning national champions this season after losing a ton. USC has a much-improved defense and yet another competent quarterback in Miller Moss. This number has moved a ton since the offseason, which is no surprise given the state of each team. Michigan is making the switch under center to Alex Orji and this makes for a slow-moving game with few points. Lean USC but the under is the play.

PICK: Under 44.5

Kansas at West Virginia

It was a gut-punch loss for West Virginia last week, blowing a double-digit lead with four minutes left to Pitt. Now, the Mountaineers will host a reeling Kansas team that has not lived up to expectations. It is time for West Virginia to gain a statement win at home.

PICK: West Virginia -2

Georgia Tech at Louisville

Jeff Brohm is looking to take Louisville to the next level this season. The Cardinals are ranked in the Top 20 and will look to stay hot in the ACC. Tyler Slough is the starting quarterback and will look to gain an advantage over a poor pass defense from Georgia Tech.

PICK: Louisville -10

Utah at Oklahoma State

Oklahoma State is still not getting much respect in the Big 12 despite recent performances. It is a home dog to Utah here, who has dealt with different injuries including Cam Rising. Ride the home team to cover and win the game.

PICK: Oklahoma state ML
