Bayley Returns Victoriously to WWE NXT

Bayley helped to put the NXT brand on the map a decade ago along with Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks, and Becky Lynch.

They helped to revolutionize women’s wrestling and bring it to a prominent position when they got called up to Raw and Smackdown.

Bayley returned to NXT last night in Atlanta, teaming with Giulia to defeat Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade.

Bayley hit the Randy Savage elbow drop off the top rope to pin Jade.

Don’t be surprised if Bayley faces Perez at WrestleMania. They will both challenge Giulia for the NXT women’s title at Vengeance Day on Feb. 15.

TRICK GETS WHOOPED

Trick Williams had a rough night. First, NXT General Manager Ava picked Austin Theory and Grayson Waller (not Trick) to challenge Oba Femi for the NXT title at Vengeance Day.

When Trick came out to protest, Femi hit him with the Fall from Grace powerbomb.

Then it was time for Trick’s match against Wes Lee. The ref allowed too much outside interference, so Trick shoved him down and got disqualified.

OTHER ACTION

Fallon Henley retained the North American women’s title with a victory over Shotzi. Fallon won the with The Hoedown, which was Billy Gunn’s old “Famouser” move.

Henley will defend the title against Stephanie Vaquer at Vengeance Day.

Ethan Page beat Cedric Alexander and tried to injure his hand after the match. Je’Von Evans put a stop to that.

Bianca Belair & Naomi defeated The Meta-Girls (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend) to retain the WWE women’s tag team title.

The champs are gelling as well as Belair’s team with Jade Cargill. We still don’t know who attacked Cargill and caused her to lose her half of the championship.
