Browns 2025 NFL Mock Draft 1.0

The 2025 NFL draft is scheduled to take place April 24th through April 26th in historic Green Bay, Wisconsin, and with it, the Browns are set to make a plethora of important decisions. Today, with the conclusion of the College Football season, I will put together my first three-round mock draft for the Browns and show what I think the team should do as prospects stand today before showcase games, combines, and pro days. It is to be noted that there will be no trades in this mock draft as well as a concerted effort to not draft someone who would be considered to have “slid” down the draft board to keep this mock as realistic as possible.

Round 1, Pick 2: Cam Ward, QB Miami

Many draft experts don’t see this as a strong draft class, but Cam Ward has shown during each stop of his college career growth at the QB position. Cam to me is the definitive best Quarterback in this draft, and if the Browns believe he can be a franchise Quarterback like I do, using the number two pick on him is a no-brainer. I know prospects like Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter are attractive, but if you think Cam is your guy, you have to take him. Cam Won the Davey O’Brien Award, an award given to the best quarterback in College football. Cam also broke the record for touchdowns thrown in a college career, an impressive feat. Cam has shown the signs of being the guy, it is up to the Browns to determine if he is THEIR guy.

Round 2, Pick 33: Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota

Aireonate Ersery was a three-year starter with tremendous size at Minnesota. Ersery’s long limbs mixed with his build make him a very moldable offensive tackle who could progress into being a starting-level player for an NFL team. his size is what is most attractive, standing at 6’6″ and weighing 330 lbs. he is plenty big enough to be an NFL tackle, the question is will he continue to develop what is already a solid set of skills to truly be impactful at the NFL level?

Round 3, Pick 67: TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State

The Browns need to add a running back, lucky for them this draft is deep at the position. National Champion, TreVeyon Henderson is an explosive back with plenty of receiving potential from Ohio State. TreVeyon played his best ball in 2024, splitting carries with Quinshon Judkins. Splitting carries is something he would be doing starting his career with the Browns. The Browns are most likely to bring back Nick Chubb for the 2025 NFL season and a one-two punch of Chubb and Henderson might just be the perfect match to get Hendersons career started, and Chubb’s career back on track.

Round 3, Pick 94: Josaiah Stewart, EDGE, Michigan

To round out this mock draft the Browns add a piece from one of the best defensive lines in college football, Josaiah Stewart. The Browns have continued to add plenty of young defensive line players around Myles Garrett such as Micheal Hall Jr. and Alex Wright so this addition makes sense with what they have done in the past to bolster the defense. Stewart is an explosive end who needs to add size to be a competitive player at the NFL level. If Stewart can add size, he can become something special in the NFL, as every other part of his game is there, however, his size is what makes him a 3rd round pick.
