Around the NFC West: Week 7

The Seattle Seahawks improved to 4-3 with their 34-14 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Geno Smith threw for 207 yards and two touchdowns. Kenneth Walker III added two touchdowns of his own. DK Metcalf had four catches for 99 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game with an injury. The Seahawks host the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.

Kyler Murray threw for 145 yards and rushed for 64 in the Arizona Cardinals 17-15 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. James Conner had a big game with 152 total yards. Trey McBride chipped in five catches for 51 yards. The Arizona defense gave up some yards through the air but shut down the Chargers rushing attack holding them to just 59 yards on the ground. The Cardinals travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins in week eight.

It was an injury-riddled day for the San Francisco 49ers as they fell 28-18 to the Kansas City Chiefs. Deebo Samuel had to leave the game because of an illness. Later in the game. Brandon Aiyuk suffered a season-ending knee injury. They did get rookie wide receiver Ricky Pearsall back. He caught three passes for 21 yards. San Francisco will need him to step up in the coming weeks. Brock Purdy threw for 212 yards and three interceptions in the loss. The 49ers play the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football this week.

The Los Angeles Rams beat the Las Vegas Raiders 20-15 on Sunday. Kyren Williams rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns to carry the offense. Matthew Stafford threw for 154 yards and an interception. The Los Angeles defense picked off Gardner Minshew three times in the win. The Rams take on the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday Night Football this week.
