Around the NFC West: Week 6
The San Francisco 49ers took down the Seattle Seahawks 36-24 on Thursday Night Football in week six. Jordan Mason got hurt early in the game and was replaced by Isaac Guerendo who ended the game with 99 yards on 10 carries. Deebo Samuel got the scoring started early for the 49ers when he took a Brock Purdy pass 76 yards for a touchdown. Samuel ended the night with three catches for 102 yards and that touchdown. For the Seahawks, Geno Smith threw for 312 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He spread the ball around to eight different pass catchers on the night. Seattle was unable to get anything going on the ground with just 52 yards on 20 carries. The 49ers host a big game against the Kansas City Chiefs in week seven while the Seahawks travel to Atlanta to take on the Falcons.
Kyler Murray threw for 214 yards and a touchdown in the Arizona Cardinals’ 34-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers. Trey McBride led the way on the pass-catching side with eight catches for 96 yards. Marvin Harrison Jr. was knocked out of this one early with a concussion. He did have two targets in the first quarter before leaving. The Cardinals play the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football this week.
The Los Angeles Rams had their bye in week six. They play the Las Vegas Raiders in week seven.
