Around the NFC West: Week 15

Week 15 kicked off with a stinker on Thursday Night Football when the Los Angeles Rams beat the San Francisco 49ers 12-6. Neither team scored a touchdown in the game. The Rams’ offense was led by Kyren Williams who had 29 carries for 108 yards. They also got seven catches for 97 yards from Puka Nacua. Cooper Kupp played the whole game but failed to register a catch on his three targets. For the 49ers, it was pretty much all bad. Brock Purdy threw for just 142 yards and an interception. Isaac Guerendo gained 57 yards on 16 carries. George Kittle did have 61 yards on four catches. The Rams travel to New York to take on the Jets in week 16 while the 49ers take on the Miami Dolphins.

The Seattle Seahawks’ four-game winning streak came to an end when they lost 30-13 to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. It was a tough night for Geno Smith who threw for just 149 yards and an interception. Jaxon Smith-Ngigba hauled in 10 catches for 83 yards. The Seahawks face off with the Chicago Bears this week.

The Arizona Cardinals ended their three-game losing streak when they knocked off the New England Patriots 30-17. It was a big day for James Conner who carried the ball 16 times for 110 yards and two touchdowns. Trey McBride led the pass catchers with nine catches for 87 yards. McBride now has 80 catches on the year but no receiving touchdowns. The Cardinals play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
