Around the NFC West: Week 14
The Seattle Seahawks took control of the AFC West with their 30-18 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Zach Charbonnet had a massive day filling in for an injured Kenneth Walker III. Charbonnet ran for 134 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught seven passes for 59 yards. Geno Smith threw for 233 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown went to Jaxon Smith-Njigba who had five catches for 82 yards. For the Cardinals, Kyler Murray threw for 259 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Trey McBride had seven catches for 70 yards in the loss. The Seahawks play the Green Bay Packers on Sunday while the Cardinals play the New England Patriots.
The Los Angeles Rams got a big 44-42 win over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Puka Nacua went off with 12 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown. He also had five carries for 16 yards and a rushing touchdown. Matthew Stafford threw for 320 yards and two touchdowns. Cooper Kupp chipped in five catches for 92 yards. The Rams take on the San Francisco 49ers in week 15.
Speaking of the 49ers, they got a 38-13 win over the Chicago Bears. Brock Purdy threw for 325 yards and two touchdowns. Both touchdowns went to Jauan Jennings, but it was George Kittle who led the way for the 49er pass catchers with six catches for 151 yards. Isaac Guerendo had a nice day filling in for the injured San Francisco running backs with 78 yards rushing, 50 yards receiving, and two rushing touchdowns.
