Around the NFC North: Week 6
What a week for the Detroit Lions. The good news is that they smoked the Dallas Cowboys 47-9. Everything was clicking on offense. Jared Goff threw for 315 yards and three touchdowns. David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs combined for 24 carries for 143 yards and two touchdowns. Jameson Williams caught three passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. Sam LaPorta only had one catch, but it went for 52 yards and a touchdown. The bad news is that Aidan Hutchinson suffered a season-ending injury in the loss. The Lions take on the Vikings on Sunday.
The Green Bay Packers knocked off the Arizona Cardinals 34-13 to improve to 4-2 on the season. Jordan Love threw four touchdowns in the win. Christian Watson caught three passes for 68 yards and a touchdown. Romeo Doubs returned and caught three passes for 49 yards and two touchdowns. The Packers host the Houston Texans this week.
Caleb Williams seems to be figuring it out. He threw four touchdowns in the Chicago Bears 35-16 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in London on Sunday. Cole Kmet and Keenan Allen each caught two touchdowns. D’Andre Swift had 119 total yards and a rushing touchdown. The Bears have their bye week in week seven.
The Minnesota Vikings had their bye in week six and will play the Lions on Sunday.
