Around the NFC North: Week 12

The Detroit Lions made it nine wins in a row with their 24-6 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Detroit scored three rushing touchdowns in the win with two coming from Jahmyr Gibbs and the other coming from David Montgomery. Those two combined for 127 yards and 29 carries. Jared Goff did not throw a touchdown but did throw for 269 yards and did not turn the ball over. The Lions will take on the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving.

Minnesota remained just a game behind the Lions with their 30-27 overtime win against the Chicago Bears. Sam Darnold had a big day throwing for 330 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Addison had eight catches for 162 yards and a touchdown. T.J. Hockenson had his best game of the season with seven catches for 114 yards. The Vikings also got 106 yards and a touchdown on the ground from Aaron Jones. For the Bears, Caleb Williams had one of his best games of the year with 340 yards and two touchdowns. D.J. Moore had seven catches for 106 yards and a touchdown. Keenan Allen caught nine passes for 86 yards and a touchdown. The Vikings play the Arizona Cardinals in week 13.

The Green Bay Packers improved to 8-3 with their 38-10 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Josh Jacobs found the end zone three times in the win. Jordan Love threw for 163 yards and two touchdowns. The Packers host the Miami Dolphins on Thanksgiving night.
