Around the NFC East: Week 7

Jayden Daniels went down with an injury, but it did not slow down the Washington Commanders in their 40-7 win over the Carolina Panthers. Marcus Mariota came in and threw for 205 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 34 yards. Brian Robinson returned from his injury and rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown. The Commanders lead the NFC East, but all eyes will be on the health of Daniels this week. Will he be back to take on Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears in week eight?

The Philadelphia Eagles got their second straight win 28-3 over the New York Giants. In a revenge game for Saquon Barkley, he rushed for 176 yards and a touchdown. He did that on just 17 carries for an average of 10.4 per carry. Jalen Hurts threw for 114 yards with a touchdown and added two rushing touchdowns. A.J. Brown caught five passes for 89 yards and a touchdown. For the Giants, Daniel Jones threw for just 99 yards in the loss. He was also sacked seven times. Malik Nabers returned after missing two games due to a concussion but managed only four catches for 41 yards. That led the way for the Giants. The Eagles travel to Cincinnati to play the Bengals in week eight and the Giants play the Steelers on Monday Night Football.

The Dallas Cowboys had their bye in week seven and will take on the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football this week.
